AMALFI and POSITANO
Amalfi is a small town which climbs its way in and out of the rocks of the fabulous coastline bearing the same name. Its stark white buildings form a stunning contrast against the sea and rugged cliffs. The Cathedral and bell tower are an absolute must on any tourist itinerary.
Positano, which lies a few kilometers away, is a small fishing village built in a ravine extending to the sea. The bowl-shaped roofs of its buildings impart a unique architectural style. Boutiques sell everything from clothing to jewelry to handicrafts, a small beach is outfitted with lounge chairs for those who wish to take some sun and a number of restaurants with outdoor cafes offer refreshments and a bite to eat.
